​Basil is a cute young boy with a good temperament. Like any hedgehog, he may ball up when first grabbed or woken up, but he relaxes very quickly and isn't hard to handle. While some level of experience with hedgies or other small pets is always a huge plus when it comes to rescues, he's social enough that a first timer may do okay with him too.
Basil is dark gray and has a dark mask with very defined badger lines. He is still quite young so likely has not reached adult size yet and will grow more over time. 
He appears outwardly healthy and has had no issues in his time here. Good eater, playful in his cage, loves his wheel. 
His adoption fee is 180.
