Did you know that we rescue as well as breed? We will take in any hedgehog that needs a home, whether it was originally purchased from us or not. After quarantining them for a while, verifying that they are healthy, and trying to socialize them as much as possible, we try to find them new homes. In addition, we often are looking for homes for baby hedgies who were returned, exchanged, or need extra work on socialization. We will post them here as they become available. There is no health guarantee on rescues as we don't know their full lineage or origins, but they will still be treated with Revolution Mite Preventative and have been thoroughly looked over by us.
While the rescues' re-homing fees are substantially lower than the price of babies, we urge our customers not to choose rescues just to get a cheaper pet. We prefer to home our more nervous rescues to experienced adults but often there are very friendly rescues that can go to anybody. We will notate in each hedgie's description if it can be homed to any family or if it needs an experienced owner to work with them.
