Wilbur is a 10 week old little guy with dark quills, dark eyes, a pink nose, and one dark ear/one pink ear. He isn’t so much a “rescue” as he is a "left behind baby". He was bred by us so we can ensure good genetic health and a great temperament. He got left behind through no fault of his own. He was a chunky little guy from day one (as was his sister. Small litters usually grow quicker.) Unfortunately, when given many options to pick from, most people tend to pick the smallest babies of the group over the larger ones. So he never got picked and ended up the only baby left. Now he’s still here as litters 2-3 weeks younger than him are going home, and of course nobody picks the guy who is now twice the size of the other babies.
He is approaching sexual maturity so has to be kept separate from the other babies and can’t play in a shared play area with them, so it’s now difficult to even present him as an option to people here meeting the other babies.
Personality-wise, he is friendly and is very active and playful. Super entertaining in a play area. Loves his wheel, loves tunnels and tubes. Our kids love building him obstacle courses and filling playpens with toys then watching him go crazy in it. He's a very fun hedgie.

His adoption fee is discounted to 200 - 100 less than the average baby, just because he’s on the bigger side. We’d love for him to finally find his family. Little to no experience necessary since he’s quite friendly and we are sure of his health and background.
