ChinchillasSex: Several females + One Male
Age: Varying Experience needed: Little to none While we mostly do rescue work with hedgehogs, occasionally some other neat critters get surrendered here too. Now is one of those times! We will soon be looking for forever homes for five chinchilla rescues. We have four females (a 3 year old mom and her three 2 year old daughters) and one male of unknown age. They are young, have no apparent health issues, and are all quite friendly with no bite history. They were very well-loved pets but due to a medical emergency and long term hospitalization, their owner could no longer keep them and surrendered them to our rescue. They are all unaltered so cannot go to anyone with an unaltered chinchilla of the opposite sex. The four young females have been cohabitating so could go in pairs or even as the whole group of four together. The adoption fee for each of the females would be an $80 donation to our rescue vet fund. Fees would be lowered if you are adopting more than one. The male cannot go home with any of the females and should be kept solo or preferably go to somebody who already has another male chinchilla or spayed female chinchilla that he could be paired with. His adoption fee is just a $40 donation to our rescue. Chinchilla experience is a plus but is not required. Reach out and tell us a little about yourself and your home so we can see if you'd be a good match for any of these guys. |
