Gracie is the sweetest thing and surprises us every day with her resilience. She came to us with one eye clearly gone and the other one extremely scabbed over and infected. After a round of antibiotics, she healed up just fine but it was clear the other eye was gone as well. You’d think this would keep her down or limit her abilities, but nope! She’s thriving! She has no problem running on her wheel, going through tunnels, playing with toy balls, drinking from a dish or water bottle, or eating kibble and treats - in fact, she might eat a little too much! I’d avoid giving Gracie seconds because she could stand to lose a little weight.
She has a perfect temperament for us and is very sweet and easy to handle.
We are seeking an owner with some level of hedgehog experience because it is important to us that Gracie has a stable forever home and won't have her life shaken up ever again. Preferably someone who either works in the veterinary field or has the financial means to pay for whatever veterinary care she may require over time. So far, she seems quite healthy and has had no issues since we treated her eye infection a few months back. But in case she ever had further issues with her eyes or anything else, we want to be assured that her new owner is willing and able to get her the help she needs.

Gracie’s adoption fee is a $25 donation to our rescue vet fund.
